Cricket Tournament
The most awaited tournament, organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC) is going to begin this June. It is co-hosted by the West Indies and the United States. The 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will be the ninth edition of the T20 World Cup. The tournament is going to be held from June 4 to June 30, 2024. In the previous edition, England defeated Pakistan and won the cup. It will be interesting to see the rivalry this season with a record number of teams.
Tournament Format
A total of 20 teams, divided into four groups of five will have competition in group stage, followed by Super 8 and ultimately with the knockout (semi-final & final). The tournament will feature 55 matches in total: 40 group stage matches, 12 Super 8 matches, 2 semi-finals, and 1 final. The final is planned for June 29 at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.

How Much Money Will Be Rewarded to the Winning Team of the 2024 T20 World Cup?
However, there has been no official statement regarding the reward price for the 2024 T20 World Cup but England, the winners of the 2022 edition in Australia, received $1.6 million out of the total prize money of $5.6 million.
